NOVEMBER 25TH, 2018 - NEW HOME FOR TEAM SUPERTECTURE IN NEPAL

Thanks to the family of Mrs. Putali, a local farmer from Dhoksan village, our team in Nepal has got a new place to stay: a fifty years old traditional country-house made from rocks and soil.

With some other rocks from Putali's garden (remaining from the 2015 earthquake) and local earth from her cornfield we could built a pretty cozy extra living room now without purchasing any new material. It features the villages first fireplace with chimney (donated bricks), old windows for the obligatory himalaya-panoramic-sunrise-view and a beer-bottle-wall for atmospheric sunset-light.

NOVEMBER 15TH, 2018 - TEAM SUPERTECTURE ARRIVED IN NEPAL

Our five students arrived in Dhoksan and were welcomed in the traditional ceremony.

Thank you Dhoksan for a very nice welcome - We are ready to work!

NOVEMBER 9TH, 2018 - PROJECT LAUNCH

In november a team of six architects is starting to build our first community lodge in Nepal's mountain-village Dhoksan. Each one of the six fantastic architects designs and builds a unique room (house) from either traditional, local, recycled or "earthquake"-materials. All rooms will be ensambled to create an dense architectural firework of typical and yet never-seen-before nepalese building approaches.

OCTOBER 2018 - POWER TO THE PEOPLE

This week we founded our first social and charitable hotel cooperative in Nepal. More than 600 residents of Dhoksan will own and manage the regions's most adventurous himalaya lodge. Special thanks goes to our close friends Shankar and Sukuman, who dedicate a piece of their grandfather's valuable potato-land in order to make this unique community-hotel-dream come true. Thank you!

We further warmly welcome Mr. Paban Waiba as the cooperative's first chairman. Let's make Dhoksan great again!

SUMMER 2018 - BUILDING START IN NEPAL
We are building four new class-rooms for the Shila Devi School in Dhoksan / Nepal.
Together with the school's parents, it's board, the "Patrizia Children Foundation" and students from Augsburg and Munich we came up with four individual designs for each and every single building. In love with Nepal's unlimited building materials (such as earthquake leftovers or the great number of natural ressources) our small school extension will become the region's biggest building material exposition.
